Earthwicking is the practice of absorbing calm, strength, and vitality through direct contact with nature. It invites your senses to open, your nervous system to settle, and your awareness to sink deeper into the living world around you. Like a wick drawing oil upward, you draw nourishment from the Earth through:

Bare feet on soil,

Hands on bark,

Breath under open sky, and

Why Earthwicking?

Pain

Jill stated: “I started walking in my grass as I was watering my fruit trees and plants in my A.M. cores. I had watched and interview with someone who was grounding and they had positive results. I thought well why not try, I mean I have to do my chores anyways! I started noticing last night in bed all of the sudden my pain wasn’t as extreme. Then Saturday A.M. even better, can’t explain it I’m shocked, my husband is shocked. I’ve been in serious pain for 13 years.”

Inflammation

Bo reported: “I sprained my right ankle really bad hiking, resulting in severe swelling, sensory abnormalities, and skin texture changes. Even after two years, I still had mild swelling, skin discoloration, pins-and-needles feeling, and sandpaper-like skin texture at the site of the sprain. I started grounding by walking barefoot on the lawn and beach as often as I could. Within about three months the symptoms such as the sandpaper-like skin dryness and swelling healed up and resolved. I normally sleep grounded, walk barefoot on moist grass at sunrise, and walk barefoot on the beach on Saturdays. I even started a beach meetup called Move Barefoot to inspire others.”

Anxiety

Jennifer found: “I suffered with extreme anxiety which led to panic attacks. Haven’t had any symptoms since grounding. I enjoy a much calmer overall disposition. No more fear of flying! Clearly the grounding has reset my nervous system. I sleep grounded every night and try to ground daily.”
